About Us

Pastor Valerie has been the pastor at MUMC since July of 2019 and loves her job! She is passionate about loving God and loving others, and really enjoys leading people into a deeper relationship with God.  

"I’ve been choir director since 2013. Music is a huge passion of mine and I’m grateful for the gifts God has given me. I love adding choir music to worship as it can be a deeply personal way to connect with God and I’m a firm believer that God loves a joyful praise. Music is something everyone can relate to and participate in-it does not matter if you can sing or play an instrument professionally, if your heart is in it, that’s what matters to God. Choir at MUMC is for everyone and I love how the combination of voices truly can make some beautiful music to reach everyone."
